Ok ladies and gentlemen... Tomorrow EVERYONE who does vacant staging needs to be at Pier 1! I'm not kidding. I spent about $1200 there today. Oh, I know you think that's easy to do. It took me 3 trips in my minivan (seats removed) to bring everything I bought. Here is as full a list as I can complete without pulling out my receipts....
Queen Headboard - $80
2 nightstands - $48 ea
2 end tables - $48 ea
coffee table - $78
2 sets of large nesting tables (big enough for end tables) - $38 ea
set of nesting tables (triangle, best for single wicker chair vignette) - $28
2 dining room tables - one was $115 the other was $199 ... both came with leaves - is that right? should it be leafs? hmm...... is it different when it is a table vs a plant? not sure, any grammatical geniuses?
8 dining room chairs - upholstered - $48 ea
3 large storage cubes (can be used as end tables or 2 pushed together as a bench or coffee table) - $38 ea
8 dinner plates
4 chargers
16 placemats
6 baskets varying in size from 18" diameter to bread basket size
8 throw pillows
2 bar stools
I'm honestly not sure that is everything.... I think it's pretty close though. I'm going to check out another one of our Pier 1 stores tomorrow to see if they have anything different or additional pieces of items I would have liked to have bought more of today.

Yep on all of the above Melissa. Well almost all. I hit two Pier 1's three times total. My spare room runneth over. But what fun!
Terry Haugen - STAGE it RIGHT!
Melissa - I spent a $250 and got a thousand dollars worth of merchandise. Yee Haw!
Glad to hear that you scored.

OK, I'm back from the sale... I just gotta brag about my best bargain ever...
It's a full sized foot board (can easily be converted into a headboard)... for $3.57
Julianna - I have to find time to shop (usually weekends) because I AM so busy! I specialize in vacants and currently have 11 vacants staged and have to stage 5 more before next Friday. I use mostly my own inventory (we don't have any good rental companies). Shopping is required... bargain shopping is much appreciated. I buy as much as I can at sales like these.... I would have bought more if there was more to buy!

Melissa,
At Pier 1's clearance sale this week I found a set of 3 black nesting tables (they just been delivered that morning, new merchandise so not old & worn) that were originally $249.00, reduced to $56.02 with the 75% off PLUS another 10% off since it was Platinum Tuesday and I used my Pier 1 card. That was a great bargain and these tables will be very useful in lots of scenarios.....love those deals!
