This is Charleston's 2nd round table event. We had a slightly different crowd, with many return attendees this time. There was a bit of excitement since we had so many come from so far away including Gary & Linda Barnett from Indianapolis, Michele Kurelich and her partner Janine Varney from Raleigh NC and Denise Balthis and company from Jacksonville Florida....

We had 18 people in attendance including three husbands. (Mine actually was there briefly, but not for the round table.. in future photos you'll see him in a yellow shirt. That would make four.) I think you may notice some familiar AR faces as well.... (Teresa & Darrell Ramey are photographed above - it is the only photo I have of them & I dont want them forgotten!)
The round table started at 2pm, but I opened the office at 12:30 for socializing beforehand. (You'll recognize Gary & Linda Barnett here.)

You should recognize Marci Toliver & Patty Hill .... My assistant Sue and Cissy Snyder are also photographed here....

Patty's husband John, my husband John, Pat Eardly, Suzanne Lazarus and her friend (sorry I have forgotten her name... terrible me!)

Meredith Morgan, one of my past students was there and excited to meet other stagers with so much experience and information to offer....

Angela Baker, Marjorie Schooler, Michele Kurelich and Angie Wren can be seen in this final photo.
It was an amazing event with tons of great networking and sharing. Thank you everyone who attended. I hope you had as great a time as I did and I look forward to talking to all of you again soon!
Also a shout out to our sponsor www.EnergizedSeller.com who so wonderfully sponsored our snacks!!

Looks like a wonderful turnout. I am glad it went well and you got to meet new friends. Can't wait for you to share some of the ideas.
Melissa,
Thank you for hosting the round table event. It was wonderful to get together for brainstorming, networking and sharing new and exciting things about the staging industry. What a wonderful idea! I am looking forward to next time. Thanks for all you do to help this industry.
Melissa: I hate that I had to leave so early! You really are a great moderator! It was such a pleasure to meet "The Barnetts" and all the other stagers! I can't wait to see what "the staging industry" has in store. I think we are making great strides!
Sounds like you pulled off a great RT and everyone had a fabulous time!
GREAT roundtable, and sounds like an all star cast. Wish I could have come. You are making great strides, good luck to you in your area, getting to the staging tipping point.
Looks like a good time!! I really enjoyed ours too.
Melissa: I was so bummed I couldn't come but I am determined to head your way for some training hopefully in 2009! Looks like you guys had a wonderful meeting! I'll have to get the scoop from Marci and Gary and Linda. :)
Hello Melissa, I have not yet been able to set and really put all of my thoughts together on everything that Linda and I experinced during our trip other than to say it was just amazing to be there and to meet you, John, Sue and everyone who attended. The level of discussion I would certainly rate in the outstanding category, but our experience was just way more than that. I think I have thoughts for a whole series of posts as a result of our trip but all in due time. I will start latter today by writing what I shall call "Southern Hospitality, Marro style".
Teresa, if your considering some extended training you really need to look into what Melissa has to offer! Very impressive.
Melissa, I cannot thank you enough for your gracious hospitality and sharing your precious time to put together such a powerful Round Table discussion. It was a great experience for us and we are really excited about where the industry is going and where we have been! Your city is incredible! Your operation is "First" class, but so are you! Thanks again and we will looking forward to what you are offering in 2009 and we will be back!
Gary & Linda- It was so nice to meet both of you! You are both incredible business professionals, but more importantly exceptional people!
Thank you to everyone we meet at the Round Table discussion, it was a great group with diverse backgrounds! Hope to see a lot of you here on AR.
Melissa, you are my Shero,it was just amazing to see what you can achieve when you believe in yourself and your talent. It was wonderful to be a part of the round table discussions and also to meet everyone there. Thanks again and I'm sure we will see each other again!
Tammy - Thanks! It was a great turnout! I'm sure Gary will be sharing the final information as he is the one we are sending it all to....
Patty - it was so great to have you and your husband, John there.. thank you so much for coming!!
Marci - I know. You missed a great dinner. We were at Jestine's Kitchen until 10:30 and then I finally left Gary & Linda around midnight.... (sound familiar?)
Ronelle - I think everyone had a great time. Most everyone stayed for at least an hour after it was over to socialize, not to mention getting there early!
Terrylynn - That's the plan!! We definately want to reach that tipping point where it is just standard business.
Corina - Great! I'm so glad to hear it.
Teresa - you are welcome anytime!!
Gary - Should I be afraid? lol... I look forward to your new blog series.
Michele - next time you will both have to spend more time here. Dinner just wasn't enough!!
Angela - Of course!! Thank you for your kind words and I'm sure we'll see each other at the next round table (if not sooner).
Melissa, you are a great host! It was great seeing the returners and meeting the first timers to the meeting. Your warehouse is still fabulous and I thank you for opening your doors to us. My character of a husband enjoyed himself and learned more about the staging industry.
Again, thanks.
Wow - Looks like you had one incredible meeting! And... I can't wait for Gary's post regarding the "Marro-style hospitality."
Kathy
Thanks for sharing the photos, Melissa. It's fun to recognize the other AR stagers.
Hi Melissa...I replied about 4 times on this today and it didn't take until now! Congrats on your meeting. I was wondering if David M brought his famous cookies this year? Marci T talked about them all year long last time! Regards-Kathleen G
Another successful round table meeting! It is wonderful to read about all the successful events happening in November. Thanks for sharing the photos.
