Speaking Up about Home Staging

How I got my last staging job - UPDATE

If you didn't read the first one.... click here to get the details ....

I finished the staging job for this unit.  The new agent hasn't been hired yet.  The old agent still has her lockbox and business cards in the home.  Because of this I forwarded my before and after photos to her...

    after

The agent replied back with great surprise about the changes, asking cost etc.  Then she went one step beyond and forwarded the photos to all of agents in the office.  I have already heard from one of the other agents in the office.

This is about turning bad situations into great ones. How can you turn a loss into a gain?

What great results -- seems like you took the proverbial lemon and made some nice refreshing lemonade!  A great example of "educating" those agents about the power of staging.

Thanks!  I find that in almost every situation that is going poorly there is an option to change it to my advantage.  In this case, it was more education... let the agent know what I really offered!  In turn she updated all of other agents in the office!

This particular office is a tricky one to get any face time in anyway.  The area is a bit 'exclusive', if you don't live on the island, you don't get your foot in the door.  I don't live on the island!  Through awesome service and attention to detail, I did get into a meeting once.  Appartently that was not enough education however.  I'll keep plugging away....
