St Augustine, St Johns County Real Estate & Home Staging

If you give a mouse a cookie, he's going to want some milk paint to go with it

If you give a mouse a cookie, he's going to want some milk paint to go with it

I'm really trying to keep my obsessive nature at bay. I'm not completely sure that I'm being effective with it. Maybe I need some counseling. You see, I don't know if you've heard yet, but I have three home staging jobs coming up for St Johns County home builders. With nine bedrooms between them, along with 3 dining rooms, living rooms, etc, I'm at a loss for enough home staging inventory. Two of these homes are very coastal design. This means either paying big bucks for pieces, or thinking outside the box.
Inside the box isn't really where I like to live, so outside it is.
Obsession with Milk Paint
I have discovered that I can get some beautiful old pieces, that are in good condition but out of fashion, for very little money. I bought this table and this chair for only $25 each.

Melissa, good creative thinking and now you've increased your inventory.  I guess you can repaint as needed for other decors.

Hi Christine

Very nice transition with the paint.  Looks like two different chairs and two different tables.  Best of success to you in getting every single room staged!

My late aunt had a chair just like that...we sold it when we cleared out her apartment.  Guess we should have kept it!  Beautiful job, Melissa.  I'm getting some milk paint and transforming a bedroom....just as soon as I find the time!
