Speaking Up about Home Staging

Free at last... stock free that is....

Ok, finally done.  I've either removed or replaced every stock photo from both of my websites.  I still have a lot of work to do to update sections on my local site.... things we are developing - slimming down - reorganization, etc.  I am happy that we no longer have a single stock photo though!

Thank you Julianna Hind for allowing us to use this great logo to advertise that we are stock free!

Please feel free to visit and take a peek:  www.RedesigningCharleston.com & www.StagingAndRedesign.com

In the days of content plagarism it is great to know that I personally sat with pen and paper and wrote every word on my website (Ok, except for a couple of quotes which are sited.) Now it is also great to know that I am responsible for all the photos as well....

Brian - I think so.... go to Julianna's blog "True Portfolio" an Honor System for your website to see what she has to say about it...

Melissa, your site look great.  I just emailed Julianna to see if she will give Linda and permission to use the logo.  We use a lot of photos on our site and we are very proud that they are all ours.  Again, really nice looking site you have there.

Nice job, Melissa!  We do have stock photos on our site, but our portfolio and word content has always been our own.  One of our goals is to build up our collection of photos and go stock free as well!

Gary - it is a good feeling to know that is your work, isn't it?  It used to bother me about the stock photo on my main page... the look was pretty, but not so very much me - even though it did work with the theme of our logos, etc  I love the one that is there now (www.Redesigningcharleston.com )

Julea - Thanks!  I do what I can... lol

Holly - this is how I started as well. I always had my verbage & portfolio, but stock on the main pages.... now it is all me (Ok, my partner's photos too).

Melissa, I got a response and a copy of the logo back from Julianna.  Very gracious lady.  I'll be getting this to my web guy in the morning.  Thanks again for the post.
