Speaking Up about Home Staging

head_left_image

Using only what you have staging CAN make a HUGE DIFFERENCE!

This past week I was proud to have a great class of students in my CSP Class in Charleston, SC!  After spending 30 hours of greuling class time, our students left mind boggled and mind numbed from all the things they learned.  They also left with a great begginers portfolio from an occupied home that they transformed.

After staging the entire home in just 6.5 hours, and using ONLY what the homeowners had in the property, they really learned the value that staging provides and how/why they need to price their services at a fair market price.

Our savvy students even managed to find an air mattress in the family's camping gear to make a bed in this empty room - their teenager had gone off to college and left the room bare.  I think they did an amazing job for their first project and am excited to see what they continue to do on with their exciting new career!

Great before and after photos.  It always amazes me what talent stagers can do with very little.

Melissa, really great job!  I love "shopping" from home seller's belongings.  During Home Staging Consults I always find some rooms over-crowded and other's lacking.  It makes so much sense to re-arrange furniture, art and accessories as needed.  Sellers are always amazed at the new life of their rooms and furnishings.

Congratulations on a great class.

Great work fellow CSP's.  I enjoyed and learned alot from the CSP training that I took.  I actually ahve gone back for refresher classes - each instructor and 'showcasing'the property on the third day is a great learning session.

Keep learning and working hard CSP's

Fabulous work!!  Hands on training in an environment like that is HUGE!!!  Not all clients have the budgets for rentals, and if your in a market that can work off of Consultations, you will be in that situation quite often.   When home owners can see you transform their property before their eyes with their stuff....that gets the ball rolling and gets them even more motivated to do more!  Not to mention, use you in their new home!

Thanks for sharing!

They did beautiful work!  I love the challenge of using only the homeowner's things!  It is so great when the owner is thrilled because we've presented their things in a new light, giving new life to the rooms.  Thanks for sharing!
