I know, I've written blog after blog about my profile photo. It seems to me that it's been strangely controversial. I decided to switch photos after having lost the high resolution image. This meant that I could no longer use it for business cards etc. I only had a sad little copy that I had taken from the internet (my own website - right clicked & saved... sigh).
What I could never have expected is that I have received email after email and comment after comment (some online, some in person) about how much the red photo is missed.... but what to do?
Last week, right before my daughter's graduation, I had a thought. Three years ago I had sent the original digital photo, in high resolution, to my graphic artist for a project he was working on at the time. Was it possible that he had a copy still? I emailed him on the off chance that he in fact did....

Rich Carnahan with Unimedia.... YOU ROCK! So, by popular demand.... I'm in the red again.....

I LOVE IT--Glad to see your back :o)
Julie
Well Melissa I thought all your photos were fabulous, but I did notice right away when your "red" showed up on my blog list. Graphic guys are great aren't they? They keep EVERYTHING!
Melissa, I wondered how long it would take...great photo BTW and the RED is you. People say that with my name I should be red, so many years ago I gave it a temporary try...it was hideous. Hmmm wonder how you would look as a blonde? (-:
So your photo is back in red. Have you changed your hair color back?
Melissa, I liked your new pictures, but red hair looks good on you, too! I guess the way things work on the internet is like branding. We recognize your profile picture much like we would a logo. We see the photo with red hair and a red shirt, and know it is Melissa Marro!
I love the red...you look great melissa!
You look fabulous, Darling, but you always have ;-)
Didn't you like my idea about using a photo of your shoes for your profile? Those were some darn nice looking Black Pattent Leather shoes you were wearing here in Indy.
Melissa - that is just a lovely photo of you! The red suits what I imagine your personality to be!
Welcome back! This is the picture I associate with you and I'm happy to see it again! It's such a great photo. Isn't it wonderful to have so many people care so much and have such a strong opinion on your photo!
