One of my fabulous stagers, David Moon, did most of the work in this amazing transformation. This very small condo (1126, 2bdrms, 2.5 ba) has a living room/dining room combo that frankly wasn't showing well. Buyers simply did not feel that their furniture would fit in this space.... Here is the ONLY photo showing this room in MLS.
As you can see, it doesn't look particularly large. It was very clear why the room needed staging. Agents, of course, were concerned about the price as it also wasn't getting much traffic.
After staging and adding these photos to MLS, I have no doubt that showings will dramatically increase and they will actually close some deals! Here are David's after photos:

Clearly these are not taken from the same angle, but which would make potential buyers more likely to be enticed into viewing this property?
We also staged the kitchen, powder room and 2nd bedroom, which they wanted used as an office....
As usual, David has outdone himself and I'm looking forward to hearing rave reviews from the builder and agents!

Well, you are getting "rave reviews" from me! It is so funny and ironic that small spaces look larger when they are staged with furniture! The picture of the empty room in the MLS wouldn't inspire a soul to walk across the street to look at it in person; but your staged rooms would make people drive across town to see it. Kudos to your partner David.
Great staging! The space looks so much larger with furniture.
That is quality staging! Love it, Melissa.
Looks amazing! I have done many "small spaces" and love the way they look so much bigger after staging Too bad more sellers and Realtors think that staging is only for upper level houses.
BTW, how do you create your videos? Do you use an online service? Thanks!
Deftly done!
Love the cheerful colors- David has brought drama to the space without layering on a ton of stuff. Bravo!
Most people just don't realize that a room looks larger when it is furnished. Great job!
Vacant spaces can be tough to stage. David did a fantastic job and really brought the condo to life.
Bravo! Looks terrific and really is a showcase now.
Hhhhhhmmmmm....... I wonder which photos will appeal to the buyers shopping online? Wonderful job! Tell David we're impressed!
I can't tell you how many times I've tried to convince people that adding furniture to a small space will make it appear larger...not smaller. I just staged a home were the buyers were having a hard time seeing a small space. David did a awesome job!
Very nice... the new mls photos will definitely draw in potential buyers and viewings are sure to pick up! Kudos to David, he did an excellent job!
David likes to lurk in AR - well, unless something about The Stagers is posted... lol! I'm sure he'll get to see all your great comments!! Thanks for the support.
Melissa knows me too well...as a matter of fact, just two days ago I posted my first AR comment in over 4 months, and it was about - what else? - the upcoming season 2 premiere of The Stagers.
I do appreciate all the positive comments about this project, but to give credit where it's due, Melissa selected the furniture and most of the accessories, and I just put it all together and added a few finishing touches of my own. We're all about teamwork at First Impressions!
David, I'm sure it's wonderful to be apart of such a great team! I only hope to reach that point someday.
David - sounds like the two of you make a good team.
The home came out wonderful and you have lots to be proud of.
Kathy
Absolutely great. The empty room was not enticing at all.
I'm sure with the new photos in the MLS the showings will pick up
David did a great job! As evidenced by the B&A's, small spaces can really benefit from professional staging. Now the sellers have beautiful pictures for the MLS, which will definitely attract more buyers to the property.
