Some of you may know that I've been very busy for the past few months on a new project.  This project is at first glance completely unrelated to staging, but on second look has some great overlap.  You see, long before I entered the wonderful world of staging, I was a professional crafter.  I primarily painted home decor items (tole painting for those in-the-know).  I have been seen and featured in several national publications as late as October 2005. 

While home staging has occupied most of my time over the past few years (I started staging end 2005, early 2006), crafting has never been far from my heart.  I know many of my fellow stagers are also creative individuals who have a lot of information on fun projects like creating artwork, frames, floral arranging among others.  I thought I would take a moment to introduce you to my new project - The Hive. 

The Hive operates (or will operate) very much like our very own AR, having a lot to do with the fact that Matt Heaton is the developer.  (For those who don't know, Matt is one of the creators of AR.)  You'll have free profiles, blogs and the ability to add your blogs to groups and categories.  (plus creating your own group).

We are brand new and sitting right now with only 3 groups and 29 members.  I ask and encourage you to help us grow, just as you helped AR grow.  All the same benefits will apply, only this time I'm not asking for your staging expertise, but your creative side..... let's show everyone that beyond our staging ability (or real estate sales side) we love to be creative!!
